AMD 4

For this AMD, i decided to watch a youtube clip of all the German scenes in Scrubs. It was hilarious and surprisingly very helpful. One of the patients that Dr. Dorian is seeing is German. The first sentence he says is "warum ist so kalt in hier?" and although that's a pretty easy sentence to understand, I understood not only the translation, but the construction of the sentence as well! Also, when Dr. Dorian wants to tell the patient that he does not have good news for him, he asks his brother to translate. However, the brother does not translate exactly what Dorian says since he does not want to upset his brother. Eventually Dr. Dorian needs totell him that he is going to die. So when his brother asks "Was ist in meine Prognose?" he says "... alles ist gut", I knew that he lied to him. However, Dorian does not realize this until another Doctor, Elliot, tells him otherwise. I highly recommend checking out this video. It's funny and utilized a lot of the German that we have accumulated thus far.
